Title: Need Some Advice For Songs
Post by: CamDodd on May 28, 2007, 02:16:25 AM
Hey everybody it's been a while since I've posted.

I have been given the task of getting some songs for a Youth Rally that my church is hosting in September.
Does anyone have any suggestions for some songs? I've already got a couple songs that I'm thinking about.
I was hoping that some of you can lead me to some upbeat kind of songs to go with some slow songs.
Also, I was thinking of performing these songs with maybe a corral of some sort.

Thanks for the help. :guitar:

my fave song to use when i lead service is "Lord i give u my heart" and it goes with fast and slow songs.
The Presence of the Lord is here, is another one that i like and seems to go over well.

I also like the song that goes like this:

I have been loosed , Ive been set free
So pardon me a moment while I have jubilee.

That is such a good song and you hear alot of churches around my area sing that song at youth rallys.

Come Ye Sinners (Ten Thousand Charms) is an excellent song!  Toby Mac's Burn for You is wonderful, as well.  Well, maybe it's not so good for me when I'm driving, as it tends to make me want to throw my hands up in the air and sing as loudly as my little lungs will allow me to do so, but generally speaking, it's a great song!

It's called "I Feel the Joy of the Lord"

Awesome song.

Send It On Down
Shout
Victory
When I Think About the Lord

And you just can't go wrong with classics (Here I Am to Worship, When I Think of the Goodness of Jesus, etc.)
