Gentle healer, has he passed you by?

Was listening to the song, Gentle Healer.....
Thinking about the revival we had this week at my church, one night to go.
As the song says, God has gently come into the services...
Yet everyone thinks it is just a ordinary meeting, nothing to expect so
they don't come.
or don't make most of the service they do show.
Each night you could feel the spirit of God reaching,
Gently touch, brushing the hair across your face,
A gentle breeze flowing in the air.
Just such a gentleness that one could only compare to that of holding a baby.
So many just did not reach out like they should have.
just watching the service to see if anyone would dare to respond...
many went to the altar, but seemed to rise up the same way they came...
One last phrase of the the song rings true,
The gentle healer left our town today.
the singer not knowing he had until the singer went to look for him.
People had gone, left the area with the healer.
How does that reflect in what I see.....
That the river and the healer will pass by and we will never know
he had gone on, and the life changing miracle that was our one time to receive
is gone, passed into eternity.
Then the people will go on their way, wondering why they are still sad
with everything weighing down on their head, hearts and minds
Only thing, this doesn't just describe the people I saw,
but in the mirror I see another guilty man.

Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
Luke 13:25
When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open for us,' and He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know you, where you are from,'

Just keep seeing in my mind this old man looking over a railing at the ocean, seeing the sun set...red sky, similar to my avatar on GP....  Looking standing tall, but seeing the tear fall as he realizes he will close his eyes for the last time that night...
