WOW! Not one of the favored or higher seeds won yesterday, in any of the four games played on opening day of the ACC Tournament.
In fact, the ACC managed to record the first 12 vs. 5 upset (to my knowledge) in this year's March Madness ....... and the field of 65 hasn't even been set yet!!
Maryland, the 5 seed, was unceremoniously booted by The U, the 12 seed - out of a field of 12, mind you. *L*
Man. *shakes head* It's not just "parity" in the ACC this season, it's a downright upheaval!
