How stupid and gullible does Obama think we are?

After proposing his ambitious $3.5 trillion budget, getting it passed by Congress, and then detecting dissatisfaction and unease in the American public, he admitted "we have a confidence gap when it comes to the American people, and we've got to earn their trust." So he made a big deal out of ordering his cabinet to trim their operations by $100 million.

Don't be confused and glazed by the millions and billions and trillions. They are not equivalent. If we apply our 6th-grade math skills, we can easily compute that this "cut" in the cost of his government amounts to slighly less than 0.003% of his budget.

He's going to remove a drop out of the bucket.

Exactly 1/35,000 of the entire budget.
