i wrote a paper for my theology class about my spiritual journey.  it's much too long to post here, but since some of you have asked about my testimony, thought i'd let you know that there's another version in existence.  if you think you'd like to read 10 pages of my ramblings, pm me with your e-mail address and i'll share it.

however, be warned, it's got some references to things that only make sense if you were in the class AND if you ask for mine, i may ask for your testimony in return.  :pwink:

my professor liked it enough to give me an A+ and then he thanked me for my "presence" in his class.  i'm quite humbled by both, actually.  he's a man of some reputation.  well written, often published, in demand as a professor and a speaker.  it was a large class and i didn't know he had taken notice of me at all.

clearly, the Holy Ghost makes a great deal of difference in my life.  after all, we know it's really the presence of God that i brought with me.

did you see me waving as i passed madison TWICE this week-end?  almost called you on sunay, but was really trying to get home before 8.  would have made it if the construction past Chippewa wouldn't have been there.  *sigh*

Kris, I finally found time to read the whole thing uninterrupted. You, my dear friend, are an amazing woman. I always knew that, but I just read yet more evidence to prove my point.

Thank you for sharing it--thank you for being transparent and allowing some of us to see your pain and struggles and questions and fears...and celebrate with you at what God has done (and is still doing) in your life.

I have this strong hunch that God is calling me to cross a bridge soon. I may be calling you in the near future. ;) Maybe crossing the bridge won't be so scary if I have a fellow bridge-crosser who will be praying for me.

*Tight, tight hug* I really love you, Kris. And I hope someday we're able to spend a long time just sitting together and talking. One layover just wasn't enough.
