The 40's we are supposed to get later this week, can't get here soon enough when it's 2, I said TWO degrees.  The car is just warming up by time I've driven Andrew to school and gotten home.

This is why I am glad I have remote start. I park next to my patio, open the door, and remote start the car 15 minutes before I am to leave for work. haha

It's presently 7 degrees.

Dad got upset by some misunderstanding or something yesterday, sort of, and got all depressed and refused to take his feedings the last two times yesterday, saying he'd been around here too long in our way and yadda yadda.  Ugh....  Being like that causes us far more grief than him acting like he's got some sense.  So far today he has taken his 2 feedings thus far, thank God, but his mood is still not the greatest.

His feedings lol - you make him sound like a baby.  :baby:

Trying to figure out the average amount of Dr. visits a person makes.

How many times have you went to the Dr. In the last 3yrs?  I ask about that time frame because sometimes one year will be out of the ordinary.

Probably twice, but I hate to go.  One was the normal ob/gyn visit that you're supposed to do every year and the other was because me knee wouldn't work.
I never claimed to be normal, though.

Last year was abnormal for me- twice to the dr's office (once courtesy of a stupid moth, but it worked out b/c I got my CPAP machine) and two visits to the sleep clinic. Before that it was, oh, probably once in the past 10 years. No kidding, the last info the doctor had on me had me working at a factory, which was around 2001...I don't like dr. visits. Most of the time, if I'm sick, I self medicate with over the counter stuff, sleep, whine, and eat it off. Basically, what I do when I'm not sick.

Last time I went to the doctor was when I was re-hired at my workplace, about 2.5 years ago or so.  The time before that was... when I was hired the first time, about 6 years before the last visit.

Basically everything Bro. Bobby said except for the part about his recent visits.

Well, the sleep specialist wants to revisit the abnormality on my MRI. He said it shouldn't be there and it's location worries him. In that location it could be causing all kinds of issues. All the original radiologist said was he didn't believe it was cancer or growing but it was there and an "unexplained abnormality". The sleep specialist is sending it off to another doctor.

Then I had to get an abscess on my back lanced the next day. Then we cooked enough spaghetti to feed an army to raise money to help finish the Bible College in Vanuautu. Aside from Saturday and Sunday I have been sick in bed. That's my sharing.

I'm surviving another day of below zero temps.  I'll be glad to send this polar air back where it belongs.

So the sleep thing was more beneficial then you expected?

Possibly... They are backed up for months so it depends on if they can fit me back in before my insurance runs out.

He has a feeding tube, Fairy Cakes.  Since his bout with shingles in Sept/Oct caused nerve damage that made him unable to swallow correctly.  So he normally gets a feeding every 3 hours, roughly, between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.

I have not been to the doctor any since my last follow up appointment with my surgeon after my appendix was out, almost right at 2 years ago.  Up until my appendix episode which included hospitalization, surgery, etc., I probably hadn't been to the doc any in the year before it either, but I can't remember.

I got me some Obamacare now, and I think I'll probably go have a checkup since I haven't had one for a long time.  I'll wait till after flu season dies down so I don't have to go in with all the germy people though without having to.  lol

I noticed that as well, but couldn't determine whether it was intentional.

Hey MellowYellow, Seth and all members north of the South - you might go into business renting your services as drivers to southerners in the winter.  They still don't know how to handle snow.  Atlanta was paralyzed by inches of snowfall. INCHES!
