Nobody's Perfect

"Nobody's prefect," I hear that explicit, I totally agree;
Be ye nobody,&  reach to Somebody, perfection ye shall see!

He that believes he is somebody, is really less than nobody;
He that knows he's nobody, will be blessed by Somebody!

Christ made himself, of no reputation, what say ye of this?
Blew not his horn, nor touted sensation, what did we miss?

Elevated by God, and not he himself, an example for to see;
He paid up the cost, for all of the lost, on Calvary's tree!

In the likeness of sinful flesh, yet he wasn't a sinful mess.
To pay for our sin, for us to go in, to Heaven and His rest.

Acts two & thirty eight, should never be delivered with hate.
Be hateful of sin, have His Spirit within, so others can relate.

Walk in His Spirit, His word do fear it, you walk in perfection;
Let Him guide you, in a tower He'll hide you, in His protection

"Nobody's perfect," is what is exclaimed, and again I agree;
Be ye nobody, & reach to Somebody, perfection's His decree

Noah was a perfect man, even before God's perfect plan;
Now we have a perfect plan, & you can be a perfect man.

Upon the subject, Job was called perfect, not by his friends;
By evil considered, to God not embittered, just were his ends

Be thou perfect, and walk before Me, God said to Abram;
He said it to me, as well as to thee, we need to obey Him!

A perfect heart, is a willing heart, from God not to depart;
Willing to give, as well as to follow, that He will hallow.

To be rid of all sin, and perfect within, sure can be done;
Kick the devil's shin, be perfect with Him, victory can be won.

When we hear, we are to be perfect, do not blow a circuit;
It's possible to be, thus saith He, it's dangerous to shirk it.

"Nobody's perfect," thus how they word it, to foil God's plan;
Mankind believes it, as Satan deceives it, but I take a stand.

Jesus' name baptism, repentance too, along w/ Holy Ghost;
Don't get hung, on just the tongues, see who we love most

Thus my stand, God's perfection for man, salvation's plan;
Thus my stand, God's perfection of man, His guiding hand.

Called perfect by man, you must understand, is very vain;
Called perfect by God, taking His rod, will be made plain.

"Nobody's perfect," is what I declare!
Be thou a nobody, if perfection you dare!

I'll stand for His plan, though nobody I am;
While I cling to His hand, together we stand.

For I was condemned, but redeemed by my Friend;
And I'm truly indebted, to really no end.

Perfect love, casts away fear;
Perfect love, is with God so near;

Perfect love, costed Him dear;
Perfect love, is what I see clear.

Love ye in deed, as well as your word,
Filling the need, and loving our LORD.

God loves us, but do we Him back?
When we hate others, what do we lack?

"Nobody's perfect," is what I do share!
Be thou a nobody, perfection is there!

Let others' lips praise you, and God will raise you:
But desire ye not praise, lest ye fall from His grace.

He must increase, I must decrease;
For the Spirit to release, my flesh must decease.

Let's humble ourselves, before we crumble ourselves.
Let us abase ourselves, before we disgrace ourselves.

If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me:
If I testify in myself, nothing on earth can defend me!

If I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.
By telling you, I am so good, it also proves the reverse.

Every good and perfect gift, is from above;
And as for thus, He bestows to us, all in His love.

"Nobody's perfect," they say to me, I often hear this touted!
The way they mean it, I haven't seen it, I really do doubt it!

"My strength is made perfect in weakness."
And also the same for His meekness.

"My grace is sufficient for thee:"
In this race God is helping me!

Paul was nothing for Something;
While many are something for nothing!
