Rusty Is Blue

   It is a tragic story about a man and his faithful truck.

   "Rusty", the vintage 1946 truck of one Roscoe, is blue. Not blue as in a sleekly honed and cared for motoring machine.

   Blue as in sad, that despite being the workhorse for his beloved master, he is relegated to second shift, having to give place to a Princess Aproved Pink Miata, that all too long sits and waits on parts, lounging around while he gets the boss to work each day.

   He is old enough to collect full Social Security but has stayed active, yet he plays second fiddle to a pigmentationally challeneged import. Is he not good enough?

   Princess Chey has taken many a ride down the country lanes with him. He's hauled many a crate of ill-gotten donuts and bootleg Dr. Pepper for Roscoe. It's not like he just rolled off the production line, yet still he pines for his place in the family appreciation.

   Will Rusty stay blue? Or will the contributions he makes finally be recognized and appreciated by his owner, whose fixation on a sleek foreign model may land him in trouble!
