Password documents/folders?

I have Windows XP, and I'm curious if there is a way I can password certain files and/or folders. Or would I have to password my user account as a whole?

Open the file.
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click Security.
Do one of the following:
Create a password to open

In the Password to open box, type a password, and then click OK.
In the Reenter password to open box, type the password again, and then click OK.
Create a password to modify

In the Password to modify box, type a password, and then click OK.
In the Reenter password to modify box, type the password again, and then click OK.

I like the paperclip! I used to sit there in Mrs Waldens *cough* class... and right click on it, go to animate... over and over and over and over to help pass the time...

ok, so maybe it is annoying, but in comparison, it was entertaining... :grin:

Hey, she sure helped me.  I went to her class and learned the lesson and then taught Mrs. Willoughby's class later in the day.  That's the only computer class I ever "took".
