I thought dsl was fast...

I had broadband before. It was a great bit faster, but was getting too expensive so we had to go down a level to dsl

well since we used to be on dial up, everything is faster

Technically dsl is broadband lol

But cable is faster and more reliable but most times cost up to 6X's more

For most dsl is more than enough. Once you are offline your downloads will go faster, dsl does not multi-task as well as cable

BTW the download did play in windows media. It said it was downloading as a torrent file but played as an MP3 file. Guess I just do not know my file types too well

Basically a "torrent" is like a zipped file until the download is done then its your regular files.

My son is on Craigslist now trying to find him a record player to buy. He wants to start a record collection

Brandon found one last week at value village. He almost bought it (for when he gets his own car he says) till he saw the lava lamp, then he bought that.
He already has an 8track player in his room

I want one then going to record all my fav music on 8track tapes and ride like the wind lol one day I want to find a nice record player as well. Something about records, just can't compare

Brandon already bought him a Beetles album online. He is sooo much into the older stuff

He keeps telling me he thinks he was born in the wrong decade

We had a flea market up here where a guy had 33,000 vinyl albums for sale. It burnt down last fall and he lost all of them. I can just imagine the various albums he had.
