I have been looking into getting a tablet/e-reader of some sort. I even looked into maybe an I-pod touch. I have to do a lot of reading for classes in PDF format and reading 100's of pages for each class is getting to be to much on my laptop. I know many people love kindle and kindle is bringing out a the Fire soon, however I am thinking about the Nook and was wondering if anyone had one. I was also considering purchasing a N2A sd card to turn the nook into a full Android tablet.

So do you got one and do you like it?

Do you think it would work well to read text books on?

With that title, I thought this thread was about you painting a "breakfast nook" in your kitchen. Shows how low tech I am. :laughhard:

I think so, if you are ok with turning a page quite often (if you use the kindle app) or scrolling (like with the bible app) If you want to try it out, just grab someone's iPhone and look at it. It's run off of the same OS. I think you need to actually look, and hold, and try out these before you get one... They all work a bit differently, and some work better for other people than me because of the way it works. Just my opinion though.

I agree!!

Plus they are working on Android for it to replace WebOS. I personally like WebOS but with out HP backing it now no one is going to make Apps for it much longer. But, it was a great price and does every thing I need and more.
