Title: The Human Nature's Prayer
Post by: Backseat Radio on December 02, 2007, 06:52:35 PM
My dad used this in teaching the adult class at his church.  Thought I'd share it with the board because its so true to how we really are...

The Human Nature's Prayer
Based on Matthew 6:8-13

8   Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9   After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in my house, as I want it to be in heaven.
11  Give us this day our five year plan.
12   And forgive us our debts, as we sue our debtors.
13  And lead us not from temptation, but deliver us from taxation: For mine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
