Do Justly, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly. Micah 6:8

Lynx

You ask me why I love Him
Why He means so much to me
Why He's in between each breath of life
That I breathe
Well I've tried to count the reasons
There's far too many to recall
So I guess you could say I love Him
Just because

I don't love Him just because He first loved me
And I don't love Him just because of Calvary
There's at least a million reasons
I start to count them, then I pause
To realize I really love Him
Just because
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

I woke up this morning feeling fine
I got up with Heaven on my mind
I woke up with joy in my soul
For I knew my Lord had control
I knew I was walking in the light
For I'd been on my knees in the night
And I prayed till the Lord gave me sight
And noooow I'm feeling mighty fine

Yes I'm feeling mighty find
I've got Heaven on my mind
Don't you know I wanna go
Where the milk and honey flow
There's a light that always shines
Down inside this heart of mine
I've got Heaven, Heaven on my mind
And noooow I'm feeling mighty fine
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."
:sing: :sing: :sing: :sing: :sing: :sing:

Don't build your house on the sandy land
Don't build it too near the shore
Well it might look kind of nice, but you'll have to build it twice
So you'll have to build your house once more

You'd better build your house upon a rock
Make a sure foundation on the solid rock
Well the storms may come and go
But the peace of God you will know

Yes it's a children's song.  No I don't care.  It's a good song.  :sing:

I've had many tears and sorrows
I've had questions for tomorrow
There've been times I didn't know right from wrong
But in every situation
God gave blessed consolation
That my trials only come to make me strong

I've been a lot of places
And I've seen so many faces
But there've been times I've felt so all alone
But in that lonely hour
In that precious, lonely hour
Jesus let me know I was His own

Through it all
Through it all
I've learned to trust in Jesus
I've learned to trust in God
Through it all
Through it all
I've learned to depend upon His Word

So I thank God for the mountains
And I thank Him for the valleys
I thank Him for the storms He's brought me through
Cause if I never had a problem
I wouldn't know that He could solve them
I wouldn't know what faith in His Word could do

Through it all
Through it all
I've learned to trust in Jesus
I've learned to trust in God
Through it all
Through it all
I've learned to depend upon His Word
Yes, I've learned to depend upon His Word
I've learned to depend upon His Word

Soon as I heard the first bar of the intro I knew where it came from - Walter Hawkins and the Love Center Choir, Love Alive album... volume 2 I think, or maybe 3.  "I'm goin up yonder!"  And unlike some singers, they actually sound like they're looking forward to the trip.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

I've heard people talk about
Valleys filled with fear and doubt
Others speak of mountain peaks
And victory, sweet victory
But between the valleys low and the mountains high
There's an even plateau of everyday life
And it's good to see that He's right here with me
In between time

I've been on the mountain high
When everything around me seemed right
I've been in the valley low
When I needed Him to restore my soul
But today the sun is shining bright
Traces of my night have gone
And it's good to know
That between highs and lows
He's still there to give my heart a song

Yes it's good to know
That between highs and lows
He's still there.....
In between time
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

I woke up this morning singing

Reach out and touch the Lord
As he passes by.
You will find he's not too busy
To hear your hearts cry
He is passing by this moment
Your needs to supply
So just reach out and touch the Lord
As he goes by...

Maybe this is for somebody on here. If you're needing something, maybe you just need to ask. He's always there, you just have to sometimes reach out and show a little effort.

This chorus has been going through my head all weekend: Ladies Retreat! Woot! My very first Ladies' Retreat - Life-changing expreience! God is so AWESOME!!!!

:sing: How can I keep from singing Your praise?
How can I ever say enough, how amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your Name
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart want to sing :sing:
Television is proof the people will look at anything rather than eachother

Life would be so much easier without hormones

Of all God's creations, humans are the only ones with enough imagination to be bored

Humans are fallible, and they unreasonably expect everyone else not to be

I have never seen the thousands fed
Or the blind made to see
I have never watched Him raise the dead
But I know when He lifted me!

There's a wonder right before my eyes
Close enough to see
In my heart is where the wonder lies
There's a miracle in me
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

I feel the joy of the Lord
Falling fresh on me
I feel the joy of the Lord
Delivering me
I feel the joy of the Holy Ghost
It's all over me

I have been loosed
I've been set free

So pardon me a moment
While I have a jubilee
I feel the joy of the Holy Ghost
It's all over me
I'm just me, round and bubbly like a lil honey bee!

Summer's almost over
How time slips away
Seasons aren't the same without you here
And I know you're up in Heaven
But I miss you anyway
And I guess I'm doing fine
I've learned to take it day by day
But I can't help but wonder
Ever since you went away

Chorus
How are things at home
Is it all your heart dreamed it would be
More than simple faith let you believe
Is it bright and fair
Does the sound of children fill the air
No one there is hurting or alone
Oh how much I wonder
Wonder how are things at home

They say the mercy river flows
Beyond the shining sea
Fashioned by the very hand of God
And they say that death can never live
Inside the city walls
Sorrow is a stranger and
No teardrop ever falls
But more and more my heart can't wait
To come to where you are

Chorus
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.
