Sleepy Eyes














You're a metaphor for words at loss on beauty and deception .
Beauty is perception in the vague eyes of deception.
Blinded by lights that are only skin deep.
Your eyes make maps to follow through glares.
Rainy days and cloudy eyes pour from a broken sky.
And these green eyes make light to see the sins we write.



While these sheets scream for a lesser desire.
Only to mend a broken wing for a moments rest.
This is desperation in the storm of loneliness.
Hold me tight as we fight for clarity .
