I was finally the last person to post!! Woot! Woot!
Ohh, they locked it? Lol.
So how did you find out you had won? When I won they never told me, they just locked the thread... and then someone fussed at me because I hadn't started the new one yet. :P
Congratulations on winning! You win... um... the same thing I won, but in a different color. Yeah...
You win the privilege to start the new thread... and they USED to tell you when they locked it so you'd know but I guess Scott doesn't do that.
I used my keen skills of observation to decipher that I was the last person to post when the thread was locked
Haha
I always hit "Show unread posts since last visit" so I would never have noticed it because after it is locked it of course doesn't turn up in that category anymore.
So then there is the answer you seek

Why thanks ma'am! *HUGS* Chel
It feels good to win things doesn't it ;)
Yes it does! I'm waiting to win one of those share and like and win free clothes on FB things. It's gonna happen. Oh yes. It's gonna happen.
Wow, when Heather dreams she dreams BIG! :thumbsup2:
I didnt realize this was a new thread. lol
Yup
OH come on Mel. I finally won!!! Where's my trophy?
At the trophy store I guess.
*snicker*
*kit-kat*
Indeed.
I'll just go to my storage unit and hold one of my soccer/basketball/track/clogging trophies over my head and do a victory dance then
Take a photo to share ;)
will do :thumbsup2:

Hey heather, I would still like a link to that recipe...
Me too!
I'll find it and post it this evening. I modified mine a bit.

Are you guys happy now? I modified mine a bit. No onions or peppers.
But... but... no peppers or onions? That's the good part! Oh well, I always tinker with recipes anyway... after I do it straight the first time, so I know what I want to tinker with next time.
I don't do raw onions or peppers.
"Welcome to Walla-Walla, home of the onion you can eat like an apple."
Hmm...

aaaahh AHHH AAAAUUUUGHH!
Whew! Must not be ripe yet....
I just really like the recipe because I got it goin that afternoon, got ready for church, left, and by the time Brandon got home from work it was ready.
Thanks for the recipe...
Oh and I'd love to win a clothing contest on FB too. :)
I did recently win a cafe frappe Mr Coffee machine and two Torani syrups. I was shocked cause I never win anything. All I did was send in a recipe and I happened to be a winner!
Nice :)
I would love to have an espresso machine. Oh how I miss my barista days.......
Did someone say Torani?
*Psalm_97 perks up.

I shall try that recipe as well. :fork:
Oh and- :pound: :pound: Isaac, just because. :P
Thanks for the recipe! When I go grocery shopping again I'll get the stuff.

Hey! What'd I do?
Just for that I won't give you the fix for the virus I hid in that music collection. :P
The only thing pizza like is the pepperoni. I wonder why they didn't choose pizza sauce or a mix of the two? I think I may add fennel, a key spice that sets the sauce apart from marinara sauce.
When you put spaghetti sauce and cheese together it reminds many of pizza. Enough so that this can be called a crockpot pizza casserole. With the noodles on the bottom as a "crust" there ya go. :thumbsup2:

Yea, we have Vanilla Bean, Pumpkin Spice, Almond Roca, English Toffee and Hazelnut :) They are all Sugar Free though. If I got the regular ones, it wouldn't be a good thing! haha
I have sugar free raspberry to put in my sweet tea.

/me is tired. Spent all day placing a young homelesss couple in an apt, gathering everything for the apt and helping them unpack. Such a good feeling watching them walk into their new place though :)
Nice :)
My head hurts
I'm tired.
My belly demands mexican food!
I'm happy :)
I'm hungry.
I'm Isaac. Glad to meet you Happy and Hungry.
Wait... Hungry? I don't remember seeing that one among the seven. Guess he was out getting lunch when they made that film.
Well. I'm fixing to take dad to Ocean Springs hospital. (about 20 miles away) His surgeon is there today, so he agreed to cut off his toe this evening after all his other surgeries. This is good and bad, good cause dad will get some relief, bad that it's in OS and we will have to drive over. In fact, after I take dad today, and come home, we won't be able to go back over and see him till after Wednesday cause there isn't ANY money for gas. So he will be alone unless mom borrows some money from somewhere. So I'm kinda worried about that too.
But God knows.
And I was thinking this wa the sharing thread. Oops.

we got a call this week that someone is donating a building for us to use as a homeless shelter. It looks like we will be able to house 50 people, plus has an area that will be large enough to have a soup kitchen & places to eat, and has a smaller building that we plan to have several bathrooms/showers and a laundry room. Very excited! :thumbsup2:
Where at?
I'm in stephenville.....the property is located on the outskirts.
Babs-are you all still headed North sometime soon?
the trip has been pushed back. Will be at least 3 - 6 months but may be longer. Going through therapy and treatment for M S
:sadbounce:
good gravy!
:waving: .
Giving three presentations this week on homelessness. Promoting the building of a homeless shelter. So far we have 2 churches, a drug rehab center & several community orgs on board. Am excited. Just hope my body coperates lol
Post!

got our grant ready to submit for opening the shelter. Will be sent of tomorrow. I have an appointment in a couple of weeks to give a presentation to our senator. Should be interresting :)

Sometimes it would be nice to be rich... Or something. *sigh
4 years is a long time to be on just my small income. Thankful that God has taken care of us. I guess that's really all I need. Sometimes you just want to go buy some "wants" though... But I really am grateful for what we do have.
I work hard to be this poor!

You can always tell when our dog Sissy toots. She abruptly starts sniffing her butt. haha
Ewwww.
Just be glad if a dog has never 'glanded' on you. It's possibly the grossest thing ever.

It's not pretty. Plus the smell lingers....
:waving: was so excited i finally got a new window for my van then today i am driving down the main road in town to go pick up my meds and the entire exaust system fell off in the middle of an intersection ugh. Thank goodness for wire hangers lol seems the brackets broke on the front that holds it up. So now both sides on the front and tightly tied up with wire coat hangers lol
Wire coat hangers are the first-aid kit for cars. :)
Howdy Babs. It's been too long. How ya been?
I drove my old VW from Richlands all the way home with just a wire hanger holding the muffler on. It was fun though coming through Virginia with it sounding like it did. They are super strict about cars, inspections, etc. Lucky I didn't pass any cops.

Just sheer guesswork on my part, but yeah. I think. At least occasionally I think. Usually accompanied by smoke and pain...... :P
In fact, everything I have gone through unfortunant goes back to thinking. The decision to be a cop- I THOUGHT it was a good idea. The decision to come here to GP- I THOUGHT it was a good idea. The decision to harrass, annoy, and otherwise drive Rat's Nest batty (er)-Well, that was just plain instinctive. No thought there. :great:

vacation has made me tired.
I think we should get and extra week to rest after vacation. ;)
luckily we drive back tomorrow and I get sunday and Monday off before heading back to work Tuesday.
Went to 4 doctors offices today and have yet to see a real doctor.
yeah, we have some doctors like that...
I really didn't see a single doctor. Saw a nurse but apparently doctors take Fridays off now.
I thought you meant you saw some doctors, but they weren't really doctors.
Lol
alot of doctors offices around here take either half a day on fridays or just have their nurse practitioners in the office.
The nurse practicer made me mad! Wonder if I could hold her liable for the extra bp pill I had to take after seeing her.
Ha!
Then people in the stock market "pit" would be able to claim compensation for their medication for ulcer, hypertension, etc.
Good doctors are hard to come by.
and it's just going to get worse...

Babs: No thanks, spam - aka whipped-pig-in-a-can - is not on my menu.
Fuzzy: How would you be sure all the bees are out before putting the lid on?
I'm no expert. I'd like to get bees but hubby's not supportive at this time.
I do like honey though. In oatmeal, in lemonade, in just about everything that "normal" people would use sugar in. It's so much better, and much better for you... but most people prefer an anonymous sweetener, one that only has "sweet" and no other flavor.
You know, there's a reason they call sugar the white death.
those would be cool to do! and yummy too! my dad used to have bee hives when I was growing up. :fork:

My dad also had bees at one time.
I loved working the hives. *until I found out I was allergic to bee stings* :laughhard:
Some day I'd like to have at least one hive.
they are a lot of fun! you could always just do a few of the jar things at a time and build up. once hubby got some fresh honey he will be on board lol
He doesn't like things that sting & is afraid it'd end up making more work for him
they really aren't all that much work. most of the work is just in the setting up. the bees do the rest, until the hive is full of honey you don't have to do anything with them. thats one of the cool parts, you dont have to feed them lol
I have friends looking into bee hives next year. This year they started their chicken coop.
doing some new crochet stuff today my sister has shown me how to do.
I keep wanting to get a few hens, just can't convince myself since it's something else to take care of.
yeah, would be nice but don't think I would be up to something I could actually kill if I forgot to feed it lol
I win :hypocrite:

I would offer some dark chocolate to help you wake up, but very few people like the kind of chocolate I have on hand. 85% cocoa Moser Roth is a lot smoother than 85% Lindt, but they still make a face and say it's too strong.
I purchased some white chocolate truffles yesterday
I don't like dark chocolate.
That's your (munch) loss.
Fine with me.
I'm with PF. I prefer white chocolate.
One of our customers/vendors (not sure which) sent us some cookies last week that were chocolate (kinda like the cookie part of an Oreo but bigger) dipped in white chocolate with peppermint. I didn't think I'd like it, but it was really good.
It sounds really good. Shoulda sent me one. :teeth:
Most brands of white chocolate are basically shortening with vanilla and sugar, but there are a few - a very few - brands that are actually good.
One of the sales guys ate most of the cookies. I was lucky to get a taste.
I like chocolate. Any kind of chocolate. Chocolate chocolate chocolate :fork:
We got some white chocolate dipped pretzels that were really good.
I made some yummy chocolate chip cookies the other day. Also made some divinity and pralines and peanut brittle
:like:
I just got done polishing off a bowl of air popped popcorn with plain M&M's in it.
Just made some pork chops smothered with onions and some sweet taters :fork:

Liver is nasty. Ick. I forced myself to eat a piece a few weeks ago, when we went over and tormented Mini and Chellebelle. The buffet had it on the bar so I tried it. Yep- nasty as ever.
I'm not interested in liver. :noo:
One of our favorite things to get when we go to the local restaurant is pan-fried chicken livers. Mmmmmm-MMMM they're good! It comes with a side and a salad, so I get a baked potato for the side, and instead of salad I fill up my salad bowl with stuff to go on the baked potato. Mega-loaded baked potato.
That's three meals I get out of that one meal... I eat the chicken livers there, take the potato mess home and eat half of it for the next two meals.
Yummmm Liver and onions would totally hit the spot right now...
I woke up at 1:40am and couldn't get back to sleep. Bleh.

Sounds good. We very seldom go there but I like it.
I wanted a nap, but the Queen of 463 hadn't left for class yet. So I'm in the library dozing off in my favorite hiding place.
We passed an Outback Steakhouse on our way to the buffet. Somebody mentioned it was really good. I may have to choose to go there next year.

I'm eating Greek baked chicken with asparagus, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. :fork:
I'm eating chicken alfredo pizza. Don't look at me like that, it's good!
I'm getting hungry.
I love chicken Alfredo pizza. And chicken spinach Alfredo. And chicken bacon Alfredo. Lol. All of em!
I think I'll stick a Totinios pizza in the oven. Topped with sliced tomatoes and onions left eroded from last nights hamburgers. Yum!

Weather permitting can we go see the Gulf of Mexico? I went to Panama City when I was like 12 and haven't seen it since. Plus that was a terrible week and I'd like to replace that memory with a good one.
I live less two miles from the Gulf. But I'll take you to Biloxi beach, it's cleaner. Pascagoula is nasty dirty but Biloxi is better...although we can't wade...well, you can, but I won't. There is flesh eating bacteria out there and people have died so you can wade at your own discretion. If you wanna swim, that's what the pool is for. Lol NOT the ocean/Gulf.
I know where we can fish too, if you care to do that.
I actually need to take you to the coffee shop that Chel and I went to. You like Bubble Tea? lol
I like mine with bubbles and taro in it. Yummy.
Ive never had bubble tea. We had talked about bringing it into the coffee shop back in the day, but i was gone then the shop was gone before it was ever brought in.
It's basically just a ball of tapioca in the bottom of your drink. It's good and I don't care for tapioca pudding and such but I like the bubbles in the bubble tea.
EW!
Hahaha!
Speaking of tea though I've already decided I'm bringing you a gallon of Pal's sweet tea. It's my favorite tea ever and it's only local (for now. lol.)
Awesome! I look forward to that!
I would bring cheddar rounds too, but they would be gross by the time I got there. They only serve them til 10:30 AND I won't be leaving until around 1. Add a 9.5 hour drive.....yea....plus I would eat them
My friend Jonathan was dating a girl in Pensacola once, only 2 hours away, and he was supposed to bring his girl home for Thanksgiving. He went over there to get her another friend sent me two large pieces of pumpkin cake as a gift. Well between the two of them and two hours in the car...the cake never reached my house.
I was kinda mad. Lol
